Light Music and Film
Film music is popular with our member orchestras and our Library contains a wealth of music composed for film and television, as well as many works that were adapted as theme tunes.
Richard Addinsell
Richard Stewart Addinsell (1904 – 1977) was an English composer, best known for film music. His Warsaw Concerto was composed for the 1941 film Dangerous Moonlight (also known under the later title Suicide Squadron).
Available from our library is his Waltz Theme from Blithe Spirit performed by Mantovani and his Orchestra.
