Misbourne Symphony Orchestra present a varied programme of music including the rarely heard Prelude and Dance for Harmonica by Robert Farnon.
The piece will be performed by harmonica virtuoso Shima Kobayashi, who writes of the work:
"This piece had been written for my teacher Tommy Reilly and this is a wonderful opportunity to perform especially this year as this is 25th Anniversary for Tommy Reilly's passing in 2000. I was a live-in student at Tommy’s estate for a year (1996-97) where I learnt and documented lessons and pieces written for him through the years during 1930-1980s."
A wonderful opportunity to hear a great Light Music work performed by a soloist who studied under the dedicatee of the piece!
