Tracey Johnson

I play the violin and viola and am involved in a wide range of amateur music making in the North West, including orchestral playing and playing for musical theatre, opera and Gilbert and Sullivan.

I am a chartered accountant working in practice and for the last 15 years my clients have been primarily in the charity, not for profit and education sectors.

However, I am retiring in March 2020 and three of my objectives post retirement were to have a bit more freedom to travel, keep my music making going (and potentially do a bit more) and to have some more time to get involved with the charity sector on a voluntary basis. The first 2 of those are currently on hold – but hopefully will be possible at some point.

However, I am looking forward to being able to use my experience to contribute to the future of the LMS and to working with everyone.  This is a pivotal time in the history of the Society, and I hope we can forge an exciting and sustainable future for the Society and its amazing collections.
