Easterbrook, a musical all-rounder, was composer, publisher, concert promoter, record producer and founder of the Bliss Trust. At Novellos the publishers he championed music by modern British composers which he also did with concert promotions and connections with record companies. His compositions included The Moon Under Water for brass and percussion and the clarinet solo Out of the Purple. He edited music by Constant Lambert and made written contribution to The New Grove and elsewhere.
